Stokely Davis is a highly experienced soccer coach and player with over two decades of experience on the field. He has worked with a diverse range of teams, and specializes in creating cohesive defenses and crafting creative counterattacks. He currently holds over a dozen licenses and certifications, including a USSF D license, National license, and Highschool license. In addition to his coaching expertise, Davis is also passionate about making soccer more accessible to all, particularly to young people who may be excluded from the sport due to financial constraints. He is determined to change the standard of American soccer and make it a unifying tradition for all, regardless of background or socio-economic status.

Hi, my name is Stokely Davis, and I am here to redefine the standard of American soccer. I know what you’re thinking: “That’s mighty ambitious of him.”, I say “you are right.” Changing the Landscape of American soccer will NOT be an easy undertaking however, the most fulfilling rewards rarely are.

With over two decades playing and one-decade coaching. I have had the pleasure of working with a litany of different teams varying in things like race, gender, socio-economic background, and even their primary language of communication. I currently hold over a dozen licenses and certifications including a USSF D license, National license, and Highschool license. As a coach, I specialize in creating cohesive defenses and crafting creative counterattacks.

With all my experience, I saw soccer as a unifying tradition spanning generations, cultures, languages, etc. So, it disturbed me to find out that many youths in America were excluded from experiencing the sport because their family did not have the finances.

My Uncle Michael once said to me “Pick an injustice in your life and fix it!” This simple phrase, much like spiderman and uncle ben, changed my entire life.

American soccer is doing better than ever, we have high-level talent across Europe. Top teams are finally beginning to take notice of our youth academies. While this is the case, America has severely handicapped itself and excluded entire populations from accessing what was once called the “Worlds game.” To play soccer at any level higher than recreationally in America means paying upwards of 2-5k every season to reserve a spot on one of the more selective “ travel teams”

Which is why Coaching Confidence was created; to operate and serve the underrepresented communities of futbol giving any and all players with a passion for the game a fair chance to succeed.
